About the Club

A group of amateur radio operators in Wise County and the surrounding counties of North Central Texas — on the air, on the bench, and out in the community.

Who we are

The West Fork Amateur Radio Club brings together hams from across Wise County and beyond — newcomers studying for their first license, seasoned operators chasing DX, weather spotters, builders, and everyone in between.

We maintain a network of repeaters across the area, run a regular readiness net, host license testing, and support storm spotting and emergency communications when our community needs it most.

Above all, we're a welcoming bunch. Whether you've been licensed for decades or you're just curious about the hobby, you're invited to join us on the air, on Discord, or at a meeting.
